Intervention Teacher - Salford

We are delighted to be supporting this primary school in the Salford area, who are looking to recruit an intervention teacher to work with groups of pupils. The role will consist of supporting them in catching up with their learning missed during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Role:

This role will commence from September 2021 and will range from working with small groups of children to occasional 1:1 support. You'll become part of a dedicated primary teaching team who offer a welcoming environment to work in. The leadership team are focused on supporting their staff, giving them all the courses and resources to help them be the best they can be. You will be working across Key Stage 2 with pupils working at a Key Stage 1 level.

The School:

Based in Salford, this school is very community oriented and staff take the time to cater to every child's needs. There are several bus routes around Salford and links to the Eccles and Trafford Centre Metrolink lines.

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

*Location - Salford

*Position - Intervention Teacher

*Type of work - 1:1 or small group focused work

*Start date - September 2021

*Likely Duration - Throughout Academic Year

*Position end date - July 2022

*Contract type - Temporary

*Full/Part Time - Full-time potential

*Minimum rate of pay - £110 a day

*Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (term time only)

Supply Experience, Training and Qualifications

*You must have QTS and experience in working in full classroom settings.

*Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with us if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

*Have a range of behaviour management skills to adapt to working with different groups of children.

To be eligible for any teaching job, you must;

*Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

*Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £46.

*Provide two professional child related references.
