KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Tooting Bec, SW17
Payscale: £85-£105 per day
Duration: Long-term to Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 08:30-15:30

LTF Recruitment are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant, working in a fantastic Ofsted rated Outstanding School in the Wandsworth area. The school are looking for someone to work with a Year 4 child with ASD, providing direction and attentive support, the ideal candidate will be a patient, calm, and offer nurturing support for the child. You will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of the child, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
Main Duties will entail:
- Working 1:1 with identified pupils to deliver bespoke support to a child with ASD.
- Working closely with pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom and encouraging them to engage in the curriculum.
- Adapting your support and approach according to needs of the children.
- Keeping record of pupil's progress and updating the class teacher on their progress
Applicant Specification:
- Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1 years' experience working in a primary school environment is desirable.
- Able to build strong relationships with children and be a go-to person in the classroom.
