Job description

Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Nottingham (NG8)
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Role Type: Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Long Term Futures is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Nottingham (NG8) area.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Teaching Assistant to join their experienced team. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role involves providing both 1:1 SEN support and delivering targeted small-group interventions across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Lead or assist with small group intervention sessions
• Help students remain engaged and on-task during lessons
• Work closely with teaching staff to support lesson delivery and classroom management

About You:

• Previous experience supporting SEN students in an educational setting
• Confident delivering support both 1:1 and in small groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
