The Opportunity

An Independent School is excited to launch a brand-new specialist provision - and is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Head of Centre to lead the way.

This is a rare opportunity to build and shape an inclusive environment from the ground up, supporting pupils aged 5-11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs.

About the Role

As Head of Centre, you'll lead a close-knit team delivering tailored support for pupils with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Sensory Processing Needs
  • Developmental Language Disorder
  • Developmental Coordination Disorder

Centre Structure:

  • 2 x Primary SEN Teachers
  • 4 x Higher Level Teaching Assistants
  • 1 x Administrator/First Aider
  • 12 pupils (on EHCPs), split across two classes
    Positive pupil behaviour and no known challenging behaviours

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading daily operations of the provision
  • Driving inclusive and person-centred practice
  • Overseeing curriculum design and staff development
  • Managing multi-agency relationships and EHCP delivery
