SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 2
Location: B97, Redditch
Weekly Pay: £460 - £500 (PAYE)
Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAPWe are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B97 Redditch area to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small group of Year 2 pupils with additional needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about helping children with SEND access learning, build confidence, and develop essential social and emotional skills. The role is ideal for someone who values consistency and enjoys building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.
Key ResponsibilitiesAbout You
Provide targeted support to a small group of Year 2 pupils with SEN
Deliver tailored interventions focusing on communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
Use structured strategies such as visual aids, sensory tools, and consistent routines
Support pupils during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times
Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals
Monitor progress and provide feedback to support individual learning targets
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
