SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist Setting (All Ages)
📍 Redruth, Cornwall | 📅 Term-Time Only | 💰 £85-£95 per day
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Redruth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with complex needs, including ASD, global developmental delays, and sensory processing differences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured routines and implement sensory strategies to support learning and wellbeing
- Assist students with adapted learning resources and personalised activities
- Provide personal care support where needed (full training provided)
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each student
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and unflappable in challenging situations
- Experience with, or enthusiasm for, working with high-needs pupils
- Strong commitment to inclusive education
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
