SEN Teaching Assistant | Wandsworth, SW17 | £90-£105 per day | September 2024 Start | Long-Term, Full-Time Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the heart of Wandsworth. This full-time position begins in January and spans the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with staff and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEN.
- Encourage active participation and engagement in lessons.
- Support students' well-being by delivering targeted interventions to aid their development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a relevant degree.
- Has prior experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Demonstrates a calm, patient, and passionate approach to supporting children.
- Is committed to helping children overcome challenges and reach their potential.
