SEN Teacher for KS3-5 Lifeskills, English & PSHE
Are you passionate about empowering young adults with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve independence and success in their future lives? Do you have the drive to inspire and support students in developing essential life skills, alongside their English and PSHE education? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate KS3-5 SEN Teacher to join our forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Lifeskills, English, and PSHE to KS3-5 students with a range of special educational needs.
- Develop and implement engaging and practical curricula that focus on real-world applications and prepare students for life beyond school.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, to create a supportive and personalized learning environment.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs and goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching SEN students at KS5 level.
- A strong understanding of SEN, particularly in the context of post-16 education and the transition to adulthood.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- A passion for teaching Lifeskills, English, and PSHE, with the ability to make learning relevant, engaging, and accessible for all students.
