Teach and support pupils with complex learning needs in a nurturing specialist setting.About the school:
A supportive specialist provision offering a tailored curriculum for pupils with physical, medical, and learning needs. Staff work collaboratively and benefit from strong leadership and access to multidisciplinary support.About the role:
You will plan and deliver adapted lessons, create accessible learning opportunities, work closely with support staff, and contribute to EHCP targets. You will maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and engagement.We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Deliver personalised learning to pupils with varied SEN needs
- Use differentiation and communication strategies effectively
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and support EHCP processes
- Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience working within SEN settings
- Strong understanding of complex needs and alternative communication
- Patience, resilience, and a pupil centred approach
- Clear DBS and full safeguarding compliance
