Bring Your Experience to Different ClassroomsSchools need supply teachers who can arrive, quickly understand what's expected and create a positive learning environment.
You'll use your teaching experience to ensure pupils have a productive day and that learning continues despite their usual teacher being absent.
Your responsibilities may include:
Experience Different Schools
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and classroom activities.
- Establishing positive relationships with pupils quickly.
- Creating clear expectations from the beginning of the lesson.
- Maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom.
- Managing behaviour effectively.
- Adapting activities where pupils require additional support.
- Encouraging participation and keeping pupils engaged.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support colleagues.
- Leaving clear feedback for the returning teacher.

We'd Like to Hear From You If You:
- Hold QTS or an appropriate equivalent qualification.
- Have experience teaching within UK schools.
- Are confident managing a classroom independently.
- Can adapt quickly to unfamiliar environments.
- Build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Communicate professionally with school staff.
- Are reliable, organised and proactive.
- Want to make sure pupils have a positive learning experience.
