Job description
We are looking for a Fully Qualified Primary Teacher to take on a Full-time teaching position in an OFSTED graded 'Good' Primary School near Ely, Cambridgeshire. This exciting opportunity is set to begin in the new year and will run for 2 terms with the possibility of being extended further.
The class you will be teaching is a lower Key Stage 2, mixed ability group. You will also have the support of an experienced Teaching assistant who will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils in order to raise attainment and focus them on set tasks.
We are encouraging newly qualified Teachers, as well as overseas trained equivalent teachers to apply - provided that your knowledge of the UK national curriculum is substantial enough to plan and teach a full capacity class on a full time basis.
Ideal applicants will also be required to:
- Support children with challenging behaviour
- Have their own transport
- Possess Extensive knowledge of the National curriculum
- Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
- Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating
Successful applicants will be expected to interview and potentially teach a 30-45 minute class at the earliest opportunity; therefore we need someone who is committed to making a difference and is eager to get 'stuck in'.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
