Job description
We are a local agency based in Greater Manchester and are proud to work in partnership with an excellent Primary School. The setting is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant who can set boundaries.
The role is to support a child in Year 4, who has experienced significant childhood trauma and needs consistency. The role will be providing one-to-one support to the child with an individualised learning plan to their ability and meet their sensory needs. The school will provide support as well as access to support from multi-agency professionals as the child is in the process of being diagnosed with ASD and ADHD.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant should:
- Have experience working within an education setting
- Be flexible and patient
- Have good time management and the ability to multitask
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Experience supporting learners with SEND
