The Role

As the KS2 Class Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to shape pupils' educational journey during an important stage of their primary education.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence.
  • Creating a stimulating classroom where children feel motivated to participate and succeed.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs through inclusive and differentiated teaching.
  • Using assessment effectively to celebrate progress and identify next steps.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, resilience and independence.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and maintain high teaching standards.
  • Building strong relationships with families to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Secure knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective classroom practice.
  • Strong organisational and behaviour management skills.
  • A nurturing and engaging teaching style.
  • The ability to inspire children of all abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
