🚗 Driver preferred due to rural locationAt Thrive Education, we're proud to work with some of the most inspiring SEN schools across the South West - and we're now recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join one of our specialist partner provisions near Bere Alston, Devon.
This setting supports children and young people aged 7-19 with a range of Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including trauma and attachment-related difficulties.
We're looking for a versatile, resilient and nurturing professional who's passionate about making a real difference.
💫 Your Role Will Involve:🧩 We'd Love to Hear from You if You:
Working alongside teachers to adapt and deliver engaging learning across the curriculum.
Leading small group and 1:1 interventions to boost both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Supporting students to regulate emotions, engage positively, and build confidence.
Acting as a consistent, emotionally available adult for pupils with additional needs.
Planning, delivering, and evaluating interventions that promote progress.
Supporting and mentoring Teaching Assistants, sharing good practice and expertise.
