About the Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant
The school is looking for a bright, enthusiastic graduate to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers who want to build experience before applying for teacher training.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide in-class support to pupils, helping them access the curriculum
- Lead small group or 1:1 interventions to boost learning and progress
- Support students with a range of academic and behavioural needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan engaging and effective lessons
- Offer mentoring and academic support to students across various subjects
Who They're Looking For - Graduate Teaching Assistant
- A recent graduate (2:2 or above) - all subjects considered
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

- An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education
- Previous experience in a school or youth setting is desirable but not essential
