EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Wandsworth, SW18
Hours: Full-Time | Term Time Only | Immediate Start
Pay scale: £105-£115 per day | Long-Term RoleLong Term Futures are working with a welcoming and dynamic primary school in Wandsworth (SW18) seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.
The school prides itself on creating a nurturing, child-led learning environment where every child is encouraged to develop a love of learning from their earliest days.
Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum across Nursery and Reception
- Supporting learning through play, structured sessions, and outdoor activities
- Working closely with the class teacher to plan engaging, age-appropriate tasks
- Providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs, including speech and language or social delays
- Contributing to observational assessments and tracking pupil progress
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Has recent experience working in a Nursery or Reception classroom
- Understands the developmental milestones and how to support children to meet them
- Has experience or confidence supporting children with SEN or additional needs (desirable)
