Behavioural Teaching Assistant
Location: Leicestershire (LE12)
Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join an Alternative Provision all-through school in Leicestershire. The school specialises in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and delivers a tailored, therapeutic curriculum designed to build confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
This is a varied and rewarding role, requiring flexibility to work across different age groups and subject areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesAbout You
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with behavioural challenges
Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and parents to monitor progress
Create a calm, structured environment that promotes engagement and routine
Support pupils' social and emotional development through positive role modelling
