Behaviour Mentor
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £95 - £110 per day
Contract Type: Long term to permanent
Start Date: Flexible, ASAP or September starts available
Hours: Monday to Friday (Term-time only)Long Term Futures is working closely with a number of secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions across Nottingham, and we are looking for passionate and proactive Behaviour Mentors to join our partner schools. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with young people, especially those who may face social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in regulating and improving their behaviour.
- Implement tailored strategies to encourage positive learning engagement.
- Work closely with teaching staff and school leaders to deliver effective interventions.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students to help develop trust and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of mentoring sessions and student progress.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with young people in schools, sports, youth work, or similar settings.
- A proactive and calm approach to managing behaviour.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping students thrive and reach their potential.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).
