Flexible SEN Tutors - Camden

Do you have a background in SEN & tutoring? Have you had experience with challenging behaviour? Want to work in an SEBD setting?
This specialist Home tuition hub is looking for someone with experience of working with challenging children and young people. You do not need extensive SEN experience to apply for this role. Passion, enthusiasm and to thrive to work in a challenge environment is essential. The role starts ASAP This is a full time/long term position and will lead to permanent if successful.  Skills and experience required are as follows:
SEN/Mental Health experience
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Substantial experience of working with pupils with SEND, with SEMH needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition (minimum 2 years)
Awareness of child protection issues and commitment to safe practice
Excellent behaviour management
Current DBS on the update service
Working with primary or secondary
Full UK driving License
Available to interview ASAP

5 days a week, 3 hours each day (15 hours total)
The role will be tutoring a year 9 boy with ADHD,OCD and ASD. The Pupil has previously struggled in education, although had recently engaged well in specialist provision overseas
The Family home has designated room for lessons to take place
His academic profile is
Strong verbal reasoning skills
Non-functioning within mainstream school
Your targets will be
Maintain pupil's progress in curriculum
Prepare pupil for re-integration into special school at later date
Math's, English, Science (Year 7/8)
Challenges will be
Student unlikely to engage remotely so requires face-to-face provision
Issues with expressive language
Short attention span
