Creative Background Primary Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, musical backgrounds to work in an outstanding primary special needs school located in Wandsworth. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students development, taking part in activities that focus on sensory play and developing social awareness with students who have a diagnosis of special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities. This particular school are looking for teaching assistant that can apply their creative skills within a specialist setting.

The role:
  • Working Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 16:00
  • Supporting students in interactive and creative activities such as music, art and play
  • Developing students sensory development
  • Working one to one with students and supporting the class
  • Promoting a positive and enjoyable learning experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
