Role: Complex Needs Support Assistant (SENTA)
Duration: January 2021 – July 2021
Daily pay rate: £65 -75 dependant on experience and/or training.
We are looking for strong complex medical needs or disabilities support experienced staff to work full-time in a special needs school in Ealing. The role is Monday to Friday from 8:30 – 4:00 daily and will involve supporting children in class 1:1 and in small groups, assisting with creating sensory resources and supporting with moving and handling and personal care.
The school is in the borough of Ealing with two departments for primary aged children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autism. The successful applicant will be based in their PMLD site supporting a KS1 complex needs class. Pupils in class aged 5-7 and are grouped based on their developmental and learning needs. Some children in class will be in wheelchairs, non-verbal or have difficulties expressing their needs so having experience and/or confidence using PECS, TEACCH and Makaton will be highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday
pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the
option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
