Job description
A SEN School near Towcester is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who will join a strong and dynamic teaching team. The school is welcoming and inclusive of all, creating an environment which encourages children to meet their potential and develop their skills. You will be required to work on a full time basis (5 days per week). Parking is available.
If successful you will be working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with students of mixed secondary ages. You will be supporting students with behavioural difficulties. This will be as part of a group in the class however on some occasions you will required to support students on a one to one basis. You will need to have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour. You will also have good communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with children, teachers and parents.
Skills required -
- A minimum of 3 months working with students in or outside of an education setting.
- Experience of working with under 16's within the last 2 years.
- A can do attitude and and flexible / resilient approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday
pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the
option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
