Are you looking for a challenging new role supporting children with SEN?
We are looking for a candidate to work as a Behavioural Support Assistant at a school in the Wigan area. The pupils are aged 11-16 with SENs, such as ASC, SEMH and BESD.
This role is temporary, but with the possibility of becoming permanent if you settle into the job well.
Pay will start at £10 per hour, with working hours typically being from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience SEN education
- Team Teach training
Main responsibilties would involve:
- Intervening when pupils' behaviour requires attention
- Engaging students to ensure they stay on track with the curriculum
- Reporting back to the relevant parties to promote a high standard of care among staff
