3 x Teaching Assistants | Sept Start | Must Have School Exp

Do you have experience working in a primary school? Are you seeking a full-time role as a teaching assistant? We are working with a school in the NG7 area who are looking to appoint three teaching assistants to begin working in September 2022.

The three roles are:

• KS1 Teaching Assistant
• KS2 Teaching Assistant
• 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

The main duties within the roles will be:

• Supporting pupils in class who are working below age expected levels
• Working 1:1 with children who struggle to engage in lessons
• Providing support to pupils who present with autism
• Leading academic interventions with children in preparation for assessments
• Liaising with the school SENCO and class teacher around progress of the children

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has at least one year's experience working in a school
• Has a good understanding of either the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Is confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis
• Can deliver academic interventions to children
• Is a great team player with excellent communication skills
