The Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs • Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies • Support pupils to remain engaged with classroom learning and routines • Work alongside the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team to implement individual support plans • Encourage confidence, resilience and positive social interactions • Help maintain a safe, calm and inclusive classroom environment Your role will focus on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build the confidence they need to succeed.
