Behaviour Support Worker KS3 – KS4 SEMH Bradford  Pay £70 - £75 per day Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are 6 months minimum experience working with Children with Mental Health issues from deprived backgrounds with challenging behaviour. This is a temporary to permanent position starting from January meaning that you would spend the first 12 weeks on supply and then be offered a permanent contract after that. The role  The responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker at this school are as follows: supporting the class teacher to deliver work in accordance with the national curriculum, supporting the class teacher to manage behaviour, supporting pupils on a one to one basis with work, contributing to record keeping, liaising with parents and multidisciplinary teams and attending school trips/outings.

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of an Alternative Provision in West Bradford that caters for pupils aged between 11 and 19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues that have been excluded from mainstream education. This school is looking for new staff to start from when schools go back in January to work with their pupils as a Targeted Youth Support Worker on a long term and permanent basis. The successful candidates will be tasked with working 1-1 with pupils as they join the service to help them integrate into the new environment, build a relationship between school and home (parents and carers) and to liaise with the multidisciplinary teams surrounding the young person. In addition, you will also be responsible for helping the pupils work towards Functional Skills Level 1 and 2 Maths and English as well as Animal Care Level 1 and Construction which you will help the pupils achieve under the direction of the class teachers.

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated Outreach Tutor to work with Looked after Children (LAC) on a part-time or full-time basis in Ashton-under-Lyne and the Tameside area.  You will be responsible for the educational development of a cohort of LAC under your supervision within the Tameside area.  As a Outreach Tutor, you will be required to be patient, calm and empathetic, and hold the ability to engage young people and motivate them to achieve.
