Job Duties:
- Provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom setting - Assist the teacher in implementing individual education plans for pupils with SEN - Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students - Support children with their academic and personal development - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils with SEN
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with SEN
Education:
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special educational needs
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting - Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and approaches - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students - Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
